Mia is our gentle, tender-hearted girl with a calm presence and an incredibly loving nature. She is happiest when life is simple—her favorite people nearby, a comfortable place to relax, and plenty of opportunities to soak up affection. While Mia loves her entire family, Teddy and Clarissa are unquestionably her people. She has formed an especially close bond with the two of them and can usually be found wherever they are. Whether she’s following them from room to room, settling at their feet, or curling up beside them whenever she gets the chance, Mia simply wants to be close. Mia has a naturally easygoing, lower-drive temperament and is perfectly content enjoying a quiet day at home. But don’t let her calm demeanor fool you! When Mia is home, comfortable, and surrounded by the people she trusts, her silly side comes out. She loves to play, be goofy, and join in the fun, showing off a playful personality that those closest to her know and love. Outside of her comfort zone, Mia tends to be more reserved and observant. She takes her time deciding who belongs in her circle, but once you’re in, you get to see the affectionate, playful, and deeply devoted girl underneath. Mia has that wonderful balance we treasure—a dog who is soft and settled when life is quiet, but playful and full of personality when it’s time to have fun.
