Training
I understand the importance of developing a unique real world dog training program that brings out each dog’s full potential so they can exist in harmony with their owners each and every day. I do not just focus on teaching your dog obedience commands, but more importantly to make good choices on their own, access a calm and relaxed state of mind, and live harmoniously with you, as their leader and guide. When all of these things are in place, you will see a significant improvement in your dog, and your relationship will transform into the type of bond you may have never imagined possible. Puppies
These classes are specifically for puppies under 1 year and I focus on basic commands but I also discuss the basic care of puppies and socialization. I will go over crate, feeding and potty schedules and how to get the best foundation for your puppy. The best time to start puppy classes is right at 8-10 weeks old. Even if your puppy isn't fully vaccinated, I recommend you start the training and socialization early to avoid training during the fear periods which come later in an older puppy. There are a lot of things we can teach in a safe environment!
Weekly Lessons
With one-on-one training, your dog will not only learn the basic necessary commands such as Sit, Down, Place, Heel, and Recall, but will also be able to understand the calm state of mind that is needed so you are able to have your dog around lots of distraction.
You and your dog will learn the basics of remote collar training, as that is the best way we feel to get an off leash trained dog, an obedient dog, and a dog that you can enjoy.
Keep in mind that a lot of the 1/1 training work is going to be about 90% you, the dog owner, and 10% us, the dog trainer. We show you the basics and the fundamentals and you work with your dog daily to get the results you want.
Board & Train
Board & Train is an intensive program that is 24 hours 7 days a week for a minimum of one week. This program is designed to give your dog a strong head start by removing bad habits, assuaging anxiety and fear issues, and putting a strong routine into place for both dog and owner.
All of our programs focus on getting a calm relaxed state of mind. Then we can work on basic and more complex obedience commands. In this program we focus on fixing bad habits and retraining the dogs mind to be calm and relaxed in all environments.
